Game Day!

During the month of December we've been working hard, trying to earn points to pick an ornament off our Christmas tree!  For every five points earned by good behavior a student picks an ornament, which has a number written on it.  Each number correlates with a prize.  We've already had a dance off, class kickball game, holiday treat, and our favorite one yet . . . GAME DAY!!!  Students were able to bring a game to play with friends.  

We had a lot of different games show up which made it hard for a lot of people choose which one they wanted to play.  

Let it be noted that Miss Porter kicked some major trash while playing Skipbo!!!

Many boys enjoyed playing Pokemon.  I still don't really understand it. . . 

Matt and Josh look sooooo tough!  That's their "poker face" while playing Phase Ten.  I won't mention who kicked trash on that one (again!).

While lots of people played games a few started off doing this. . . 

Those desks can quickly become a jungle that need to be cleaned out every now and then.  

What a fun time!!!  And to think . . . I got a whole day of GREAT behavior (a week before Christmas) in exchange for 45 minutes of games.  What a great trade!
