A few weeks ago the Living Planet Aquarium came down from Salt Lake to visit our class. Each class got to spend about an hour with the two visitors as they talked all about Utah's Wetlands and the water cycle.
All the hands-on activities were great for the students to see how the water helps in our state and community. We also go to talk about the plants and animals of wetlands. The visitors were very impressed with how much our class knew about wetlands which made me happy, since we just finished our Utah biome unit!!
Our favorite part of the entire visit was when a few little critters came out to play! We learned all about them and even got to pet a few! A BIG thank you to the Living Planet Aquarium for coming to visit and helping us learn more about how water works!!
