Special Assembly

Last week we had David Eves come and talk to our school.  When he was 16 he was in a bad 4 wheeling accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down.  He told us about the attitude he had at first when faced with his challenge.  He also said that once he decided to think positive and never give up he was able to accomplish things his doctors thought he'd never be able to do!

Tyler from our class got called up during the assembly.  He tried to put on pants without using his legs or any muscles in his stomach or legs.  As you can see, it was pretty tough!

What a great life lesson to hear about.  We'll all be faced with challenges in our life but it's our attitude that helps us get the furthest!
